It's a small world

I have been reading this lovely blog for a while already, and admired Helen's beautiful home and her wonderful creations. I also saw at her blog a while ago that their beautiful cottage was featured in one of my favorite magazines. I went to newsstand here but nope, it wasn't there. I wasn't that surprised but annoyed yes, and went home without buying anything.

Then on last Saturday I was shopping, tired, a bit cranky and very wet from heavy rain. I went to magazine section and just crabbed a "looks-great-will-do" one and biked home (in rain again). In the evening I finally sat down on a sofa with a cup of tea and opened the magazine. Looking through pages I saw a pretty red-head and thought that I knew her somehow... Hey! It was Helen in the article I wanted to see - about her cottage! It was a lovely surprise (and the cottage was just so beautiful) and it just made my evening. It's a small world, indeed.

Happy Wednesday!

Thank you, Helen!

I like your blog a lot and enjoy your pictures so much, too, so it was great to read that article. Your cottage is adorable!

Have a wonderful day and many greetings from Finland!

That is so great (and it makes the world feels even smaller!)! I love that magazine and buy it almost every month. Helen's blog is adorable, I would love to visit her shop but... So I am enjoying it via net!

What a beautiful blog/home she has Mia but the thing which made me jump with delight was seeing the PIGS!!! I have a secret, I adore pigs and have some lovely collections in a cabinet which I call my pig sty, yes it's another of my vices!I so wish I could have a real one. Perhaps one day I will write a blog about my pigs?

It's a rainy day here, I have just got home from work so time to sit down with a cup of tea!
Happy Wednesday!
Love, Jane x

Thank you so much for the great offer, periwinkle! We seem to love same magazines!

I have been thinking of ordering that (UK version) to my doorstep but when I checked some years ago it was quite expensive. I really need to check that again, it would be so lovely to have it every month without seeking!

Happy day!

Yours,
Mia

Hi Dani!

An another fan of that magazine - wonderful! And I love chocolate-cookies too, but try to cut them for weekends only :) Christmas is coming and I know I'll be having a lot of everything then...

It's nice and clear here too so I am going to take my bike out for a ride too! Happy Thursday!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
