Winter is not for everyone

The winter is almost here and oh, so are the most exotic Finnish winter-birdies! Let's take a closer look, shall we?

But they do not seem too happy! What's wrong? After a little hesitation they whispered, that they're not too fond of snow or frost! We had a long chat, and on the end they agreed to be up to an adoption! They also wanted to say, that they'll be most cheerful little tweets as long as they can stay indoors. They love handbags and jacket pockets and wish to move in with someone, who is not too keen to forget them outside in rain or snow. Otherwise they have no demands what so ever. Their adoption-form can be filled in my shop here.

Happy Tuesday!

I am sure they will be adopted super quick Mia, such cheerful Tweets. Keep warm, it looks so cold there...we just have a grey damp blanket for our weather today.
Happy Tuesday, I shall be silversmithing this pm and it's the Tango at dancing tonight for the next 3 weeks...how exciting!

Hi Jane,

It's freezing here (windy and stormy) so I am indoors again after my Spanish lessons! It sounds like a perfect evening to you, enjoy :)

Mia

Hi Viv,

It's not only the birdies who were cold today, it's FREEZING here and I just cannot believe the winter came and stayed... *sigh* I need to stay indoors :)

Happy week!

They are very cute Mia! I feel quite envious of your snow, we just have rain, rain and more rain here in the UK. What happened to the snowy Winters of my childhood?

Hope you are staying nice and warm. Beth :)

Hi Beth!

We have been thinking the same here, as when we were children, we had snow on our Autumn break (which is in October) so much that we skied all the time! Now the snow comes and goes and around Christmas it settles for good.

Have a great week!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
