December 19th

**Welcome to my little Christmas blog! Here you'll find something Christmassy every single day until the big celebration on 25th of December! Some of the things I have created myself and some have been made by you, my dearest readers!
Thank you and the Happiest Holidays!**

DECEMBER 19th

Making gingerbread men is not that festive to show, even though it's definitely something Christmassy. But when it's made with little helping hands, it makes it something special. I wish you enjoy these happy images as much as we did when they were taken!

You'll need:

gingerbread dough
molds
happy little helping hands

Oh how much a simple dough can be! Rolling is the best!

Cut and eat, cut and eat, cut and eat...

Perfect, every single of them in their own way.

Mmmmm...

Happy December 19th and the Fourth Advent Sunday!

Yours,
Mia

Oh I'm all jealous as we didn't make our usual Gingerbread cookies for the tree this year, I just haven't got around to it. You might have given me an idea for today though as we are.....SNOWED IN!!! OK, well not really and by your standards it's a tiny weeny bit of snow but I can pretend :)

Hi Beth!

We used a ready-made dough but oh dear they were good still! So today you can stay in, warm and cozy and bake! The smell is divine too :)

Happy Sunday!

Mia

Good morning Mia, I am reading this from a very snowy Surrey. No more snow overnight but it looks like more coming out way. My outdoor thermometer reads -8oc this morning..brr.What a darling boy your nephew is and how much did he love doing all that rolling out....brilliant cooking (and eating of course!)
Happy 4th Sunday in Advent,
Love Jane x

Thank you, dear Jane!

We (me&sis) just came from Christmas market, and I bought some of the most delicious fudge from a wonderful British lady there, so now I am toasting with it to all of you my dearest snowed in lovely Brit-friends! It's -18c and windy here but hey, a good fudge is a good fudge!!!

Love,
Mia

Another snowed-in Brit here!!
Well not exactly but we do have quite a bit of the stuff. I'm putting my boots on and going to the park this afternoon though and we're going to a carol service tonight. So it's not going to keep me in the house!
Look at those lovely little helping hands, bless him, he's having fun and enjoying all his hard work too! :)
Happy Sunday Mia,

Thank you, Viv!

He's the best little helper, so keen to try anything ;) and he loves what he does! And the results too!

Have a wonderful walk, and enjoy your winter wonderland but stay warm!

Happy Sunday!

Mia

I can just smell that gingerbread - much more fun to do these things with small or even quite large boys around. Oldest son is decorating the cake tomorrow but he has to make Matthews birthday cake too - chocolate with Smarties on top. It has snowed all day and its so pretty.

It's only a few days and as we speak, I should be cleaning the house...hmmm...maybe I opt for a gingerbread heart instead ;)

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
