Weekday, working day, business day

I checked my dictionary for an average day, and those it came up with: a weekday, a working day and a business day. It didn't say anything about a dull day or a monotone Monday though, I was actually a bit surprised. Oh, you got I right, it's the first MONDAY after the Holidays.

It's not that bad, really, I am just feeling sort of slow. So I have had some tea, sorted my paperwork, drank more tea, calculated some figures for 2011 (with a hot cuppa) and done my goals (business-wise) for this year. I also am waiting Mr. Postie to visit a three places soon (see the picture above) as I finally got the giveaway-prizes to post before the New Year. When they get to those lovely ladies, I'll show you a few more pictures.

Talking about the giveaway, you really should take a look this! It's lovely Nova having a pretty, funny and generous giveaway until 15th, go and sign up, the prizes are just fantastic! And I really can't think of anything more cheering up than a parcel full of those pretties arriving in an another gray January day!

I also have done just a little new things for my shop (like that little birdie in love-pouch above), and they'll get there one by one during next a few days. So I am starting this year in my own pace, and enjoying what I do. That's my unofficial new year's resolution, did you make any?

Happy Monday!

Yours,
Mia

Hi Sweet Mia,
Happy New Year to you! Yes, mondays can be bad! I go to work tomorrow so I am still enjoying this day but my mind knows it's drawing near. Making my lists is helpful though, wanting to be as organized as possible for this coming year, so I don't waste to much time!! Loving your new pouch and your new outlook on enjoying your craft. xoRobin❤

Love your new makes!
Lovely blue sky here today although it is very cold but I don't mind I do really like this time of year!
Everyone else in the house go back to work tomorrow so it will be time to spring clean when I get the house to myself.
Oh I do love a bright shiny new year. :)

Hi Mia! I saw yesterday an old movie with Polyanna and she said that if someone doesn't like Mondays she should think that it's a great day because there is the whole week till the next 'awfull' Monday! Here all the shops are still today closed because they have worked more hours during the Christmas weekend. Anyway for me all the days are similar even still I prefer the weekend.
Your packets are so beautiful - you really take care of them!

Hi Mia, today is the end of our holidays and we are all back to work tomorrow (well for me it's Wednesday). We have just got back from a lovely afternoon with Tom's parents and I am looking forward to the New Year after a wonderful Christmas break. Your lovely packages brighten up every day -including Mondays! I don't ever make resolutions but I always think a good list is so helpful. Here's to lists and a great 2012 ;0)

Mondays have always been not-that-great for me, but I definitely find the lists helpful too! I have planned this year long. long ahead (a new thing for me!) and we'll see how I get on with this scheduled life :)

Hello Donna,

And still once: Happy new Year!

And yes, i have started to work again, but still it's sooooo sloooow ;) and thankfully Friday is a bank holiday here so this week is shorter than usual! But I'm getting there, days are brighter and it's almost spring!

Happy week!

Happy new Year, Pam!

I am happy you've decided to take your time with this new year too! My autumn was very busy, so I really need to take it easy here. And yippee, there's a whole year to craft and create!

Happy Wednesday!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
