Almost exactly year ago we had some strange but quite cute visitors in our back yard, and this morning their blue relatives arrived! They told me that the previous ones sent their love (from all over the world from their new homes) and they had recommended this particular garden. I was speechless as the garden sounded sort of exaggeration this morning with the snow mountains and leafless bushes.

The birdies seemed happy, though, and they even have two little tweets with them. Suddenly sun started shine too and happy tweeting filled the air. Who am I to argue: Spring is definitely here!

Happy last day of February - and warm welcome to March!

Yours,
Mia

Hi Emer,

And oh yes, we have more than enough snow... But it's getting warmer so soon, very soon... :)

Happy, springly and sunny week!

Mia

I thought they were real birdies for a moment there, Mia! How adorable they look perched on the twigs, just as they should be! I can see it's sunny there despite a lot of snow - it's spring...and warmer weather is on it's way! Have a happy, sunny week. Helen x

How sweet they all look out there in your garden, adding a bit of colour to all that whiteness!!
I hope Mr March takes all your snow away and puts some leaves on all your leafless bushes!
Have a lovely week Mia. :)

Hi Viv,

I am wishing exactly the same :) There are no buds yet (even I checked so very closely!) but March makes me think spring is close still!

Happiest week with loads of sunshine!

Mia

I remember your post last year Mia. I am glad to see some lovely new birdie friends seeing out the end of February and some very welcome sunshine in your garden. After the wonderful spring like day we had for Matt's birthday last week it has not stopped raining here!! Here's to a sunnier and warmer March. Have a great week,
Love Jane x

Hi Jane,

I thought you might as you may have met one of those last years' visitors :)

And rain, oh my! That's my worst fear for this summer here: once it'll start raining, it won't stop until it snows again ;) Let's use the positive thinking: shoo-shoo the rain away from you (and not to here) and sunshine instead!

Have a wonderful week with many, many sunny moments!

Yours,
Mia

Aw! So cute! Spring is definitely on its way... it can't come quick enough now. I am sure that you'll be glad once that snow starts to ease. It is funny because we had about a foot of snow just before Christmas and everything came to a standstill because we're just not used to dealing with it. You must be a pro with how much you have and how long you've had it for! :)

We're are pros (there's no other way ;) really) but oh boy do we complain... We really do! And it also feels that as a child winter was great and not that long at all but now... Months and months... But now it's definitely spring and I love it!

Happy and sunny days!

Yours,
Mia
