December 14th

** Welcome to my little Christmas blog! Here you'll find something Christmassy every single day until the big celebration on 25th of December! Some of the things I have created myself and some have been made by you, my dearest readers!
Thank you and the Happiest Holidays!**

DECEMBER 14th

What are your most cherished Christmas traditions? Do you have the same beautiful table clothes and the most beautiful china in use every year, and the baubles in tree you can remember from your childhood already? Oh but we do. But I still am so interested in learning new traditions, and if they have something unique and handmade in them, I am in love already.

Many of you may know these beautiful things from your childhood already, but for me they've something new! Christmas crackers! Created by the most talented Jane! They're a real masterpieces she creates for her family each year, and oh yes, they match to the serviettes perfectly.
How much do I love that?

Jane has written a post to you, my dear readers, about her unique Christmas crackers and created a how-to-do tutorial with beautiful pictures!
Please go and see it here.
And oh it's no surprise these crackers are fabulous, Jane is a truly gifted jewelry maker, and her precious pieces can be seen not only in her blog but also
in here and in her Etsy shop.

Thank you so much, Jane, and many kisses to The Most Important Assistant, Billy!

Happy December 14th!

Yours,
Mia

P.S. This post's pictures were taken by Jane too, thank you again!

Hi Mia, I truly love the talented people one finds on the internet. The firecrackers are gorgeous I must pop over and visit Jane.

Our Christmas Tradition, we go out chop down our own tree on christmas even early. We decorate it add a about a dozen real candles sit by the woodburner eating popcorn and watching Christmas Vacation Movie whilst the candles are burning on the tree. Closely watched of course.

Sounds lovely, Dani! We used to have real candles in our trees too when I was child, but now we use set of plug-in-electric ones. Pretty but not the same, your tradition is definitely a keeper!

Happy day!

Yours,
Mia

That Jane is a busy lady. I have bought these "crackers" here in the States but I've never made them myself.

Off to visit her blog!

Happy December, Anne

Hi Anne,

We haven't got those in shops here, unfortunately, so I am dreaming making some for next Christmas! Jane's tutorial is THE BEST :)

Happy Wednesday!

Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
