The new rule

I think there should be a rule stating when someone has a birthday (or any big day), there must be some cards, flowers and presents left for later. Without you knowing, of course. Because after a special party-weekend normal, dull Mondays and Tuesdays can be quite hard to cope. But if you had some surprise-beauties dropping to you mailbox...

Just look at these cards! If these are not me, I do not know what are? Beautiful, beautiful... But even more (if possible) ME things followed:

A beautiful pink-colorful flowers-scarf! And:

White-pink corsage! And what a match they make:

There will be one happy girl dancing around here this spring. And if someone wondered already, these beauties didn't come from the same person, not from same continent even. My special taste is well-known around the world, apparently. And it warms my heart. Thank you so much, ladies, for making this average Tuesday extra special! I hope I could make you smile as wide as I am smiling now!

Lovely Tuesday, everyone!

Yours,
Mia

Absolutely, birthdays should be stretched for maximum benefit!!! :)
It's my daughters birthday tomorrow and she has already had a meal out with some friends last Saturday, a family meal with her cake here at home on Sunday and we're going out to a restaurant tomorrow evening. She's also going out with more friends next week! She makes her birthday last for about 2 weeks. :)
So it is nice to have some things a few days later.
So glad you like it. :)

Two weeks sound about long enough, I agree, Viv! Life can be dull without celebrations every now and then so we definitely need that two-week-rule :)

Thank you so much, dear friend, you made my day! And I hope I made you smile too with some little bunnies... ;)

Happy Tuesday!

Yours,
Mia

Yes, birthdays should last more than one day!! Everything looks good--scarf and flower brooch.
I'm happy it feels more like spring there. More birdies and sunshine here too.
Very glad you liked it.

Happy Tuesday, dear Mia!!

Dear Anne,

Thank you so much! It was a wonderful surprise, and I love the scarf! And it actually made it even more special that the parcel(s) arrived on normal Tuesday!

Thank you for making my day!

Happy March to all of you!

Mia

Oh, I love that you got to extend your birthday. I think that is a lovely idea and I would love to do that too. But my birthday is 2 days after Christmas soooo not the best timing!! Love your special cards and they are YOU! The scarf and pin are a perfect match. You will look Stunning this spring. xoRobin❤

Hello Teje,

B-days should be celebrated as many days as possible, they make life so much more fun! I wish your weather gets warmer soon and in the meanwhile many sunny greetings from Finland!

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
