Home sweet home

Hello dear friends,

Happily smiling after a great weekend I still would love to show you some little details from our weekend. Little more brighter this time too. So here we go:

Happy store windows (and us there too on the mirror!)...

Busy Christmas markets - it was packed - hundreds of people all around. Too many people for my liking, really. I love to see things great, touch the items, and also talk to the sellers... So in "Vanha Ylioppilastalo" we escaped upstairs and it was little easier to breath there. I found some pretty gifts there though, more of those later, some might be on their way to my readers too...

And there was an outdoor market too on "Senaatintori", it's a marketplace just next to very majestic buildings such Helsinki Cathedral, The Government Palace and beautiful buildings of the Helsinki University. Such a wonderful place for a Christmas market!

We climbed all stairs to the Cathedral and the views were spectacular - and even sun came out!

Lovely sunshine followed us whole Sunday ...

...and now I am back to snowy home. We had the most wonderful time, and I got so much new energy from this little trip. Thank you so much for the best ever company, Sis, and we have to make this December trip as a new tradition!

I wish you all happy December 11th!

Yours,
Mia

P.S. Giveaway here until December 15th! Welcome!

Hi Teje!

We had lovely weekend, and everything was so pretty, except as you said: not a drop of snow, not one single flake! But back home we have now more... Everything seems so much more festive!

Wishing you a lovely week!

Hello Robin!

Helsinki is a beautiful city, and with a hint of Christmas-things it was even more wonderful. But as Teje pointed out, no snow at all. But it'll come, I'm sure!

Wonderful last weeks before Christmas!

Mia

Dear Jane,

It was lovely although some spots were REALLY crowded - but there were some pretty things to see. Very inspirational! And that sun...it was so magic as it's been a while since we've seen it!

Have a great week, it's only two weeks!

Yours,
Mia

Thank you so much, Helen!

Sunday's weather was lovely (Saturday would have been miserable should we have seen any outdoors ;) we did shop all day long) and the whole trip was just perfect. Definitely a keeper in our traditions-book!

Have a fantastic week and happy crafting moments!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
