...the weather not so much. It's really not that Easter-y (I wish you can see it in the pictures above but if not it SNOWS), but it's wonderful still. I am just off to deliver some of my HandmadebyMia Easter cards, and I am going to walk come rain or shine (you may know which it's going to be unfortunately).
I made these cards by cuttings pretty images from the old Easter cards (I keep almost all the cards we receive, birthdays, Easter, Christmas, and I have quite a stash), cut the greetings from the other cards "Happy Easter greetings" and "Happy thoughts" they say, added a bit of stitching, some felt flowers and greenery and voilá! I'm loving them and I wish the receivers will too.
Happy days, friends!
Yours,
Mia

It really looks wonderful,
but here in the Netherlands I can't
imagine it being so snowy at the
moment!
It almost looks like another world...
When does your spring start?
I hope soon for you!
Hello Stins!
And welcome! It's usually not THIS bad around Easter :), we should have sunshine and drying streets for biking and some years even rollerskating but buhuu, we've had a bad week, a relapse really. But it should stop tomorrow (heard that before?), and then it should be getting better. This just requires more chocolate... a lot more!
Have a wonderful Easter-weekend!
Yours,
Mia
Sweet Mia,
Happy Easter to you and your family. I can't believe you have a new snow fall, how will you hide the eggs?!? We don't have snow but we also don't have the sun and it is GLoooommmmyyy!
Love your chickie card, so clever and green.
Happy day and Easter weekend to you, xoRobin❤
Dear Robin,
We hide the eggs inside, it's the tradition here, we just can't trust the weather! So before little ones wake up on Sunday, the eggs will be hidden behind the books in bookshelves, cushions, toys, under the sofa... You name it - and it works!
Have a wonderful Easter-weekend too, dear friend!
Yours,
Mia
Dear Mia...nooooo not more snow!! It's turned cooler here but the sun is shining and the sky is blue so I shall wish some you way. Your cards are SO cheerful though they will brighten everyone's day. Eat lots of chocolate and stay warm. Happy Easter my dear,
Jane x
Dear Jane,
I'm afraid it's the case here: snowyti-snowyti-snow!!!! But we're cheerful here still, and LOT'S of chocolate near the sofa helps, really!
Enjoy your blue skies and kiss B for me again, please! Happy Easter!
Yours,
Mia
Hi Mia, Cheery cards on a snowy day!! I hope it melts soon.
(I read some of the earlier comments) Most Easters, we are hiding the eggs inside of our house. It is always snowy here. But this year, we're very lucky with the better weather.
Enjoy the fun stuff ---good food, chocolate and celebrating!!
Happy Easter,
Anne

I'm soooooo angry with the weather fairy, giving you snow for Easter! :(
Your cards definitely brighten the day, they are gorgeous and I'm sure will be well received!
Happy Easter and you absolutely deserve chocolate and lots of it!

Thank you, Pam!
It's been more beautiful here last two days, even some sun!
Wishing you a great new week!

Your cards are great! We also had snow around Easter, we were in the north of england (Yorkshire) visiting my family and we arrived to gales, snow and powercuts. Nothing like your snow though, it was all metled in a couple of days. Bethx
Hello Beth,
I thought all England had such a great weather for Easter (like it's been whole spring)! Our snow was veryveryvery wet and I think it actually started to melt the old one... Love it!
Have a great weekend!
yours,
Mia
