Early bird

I am starting to get into a Christmas-mood already, and am planning this year´s Santa-socks and such! I know it's early, but shop-wise I think I am just in time... There's always a first! And because of this unexpected early bird catches the worm-situation, I am having a little sale in my shop for this month. Everything will be -20% with a code RAIN2012 (how convenient in these days!), excluding the shipping costs. So if you have a minute, take a look and who knows: Maybe you'll find something for Santa´s sack already?

Happy Tuesday!

Yours,
Mia

Oh dear I think your discount coupon says it all Mia!!!
Obviously the weather is rubbish over there! :(
We have a very promising start and I did get to spend quite a bit of time in the garden yesterday but 'they' say rain is coming later, sadly. :(
Good luck with your sale and happy Tuesday,

Hello sweet Vivienne,

It's not raining at this VERY moment ;) here, but "they" (are they the same they in both places? They always say rain no matter where) say rain here too soon... Unfortunately.

Sending you a lot of sunshine!

Yours,
Mia

Hi Sweet Mia,

I will definitely sneak on over to your shop. I think you are so smart to feature Christmas anytime now. Better early then late!! I know everything will be clever and gorgeous. Sorry to hear rain for you, we are also expecting rain today but we have had lovely sunshine for weeks.
Happy knitting, felting and designing, xoRobin❤

Hello dear Robin,

I have always been a bit late for my Christmas-things so I though I start earlier&slower this year, I am trying to avoid the last minute rush&panic!

Have a beautiful September-week!

Yours,
Mia

Hi Mia! You are not at all too early - all we should be busy with Christmas things if we like to sell them before Christmas. Usually we wake up too late - thank you for waking us up!
I still try to send your sun and dry autumn even we had yesterday first rain and didn't have electricity all the evening. Fortunately we had arranged 'poker evening' (not at our home) with friends from Finland! 3 were playing cards and I was knitting socks and the looser payed pizzas! x Teje

Thank you, Helen! I was inspired by your post last week of making Christmas things (and Easter!) already, and after checking my calendar I realized it's not that early :)

Happy Wednesday from rainy (again...) Finland!

Yours,
Mia

Heipsan Teje,

I know, it's early for home-decorators and such to get the Santa's out, but selling-wise I think it's time to get started soon! Pas years I have been planning to make A LOT of Christmas-items and ended up only a few in beginning of December... A new way of trying this year!

Have a wonderful day, New. Mrs :), and thank you for the sunshine, it's needed as it rains again...

Yours,
Mia

I like your "early bird" sale idea, Mrs. Mia!!

After all of the autumn birthdays//wedding, I know I should start thinking of Christmas.

Please send some sunshine my way (if you have a bit).

Happy Wednesday and week.

We are having a very rainy day here in the south of the uk, it's absolutely tipping it down! Still, you know me, I quite like it, I get much more sewing done when it rains. I hope you are seeing some nice autumn sunny days though, I know you prefer that. I agree, it's not too early for Christmas in shop world, I've been working on things since June and I'm still way behind! I hope your sales go up and up, what a generous voucher offer. Beth :)

Hello Beth,

You're my inspiration, you're always so well prepared, organized and in time - I'm the opposite, always full of idea and plans, yet, but running late. So we'll see how it goes this year! I wish happy Christmas-sales for both of us!

Happy last days of September!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
