Fabulous four

How you can tell that someone is really a big boy?

The Moomins leave...
...and then arrive...
 ....the angry birds.
Oh my.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Yours,
Mia

Hello sweet Anne,

Yes, both curtains were auntie-made, and I also made him a angry birds-bed cover for his birthday. he also has a angry-bird poster, many games, soft toys... He really loves them!

Have a wonderful new week soon!

Mia

Hello Teje,

I think it goes a whole circle. as child you love the Moomins, then they're SO OUT and when you get older (and wiser ;) heh) they are the cutest again... At least with us girls. And oh, those birds...I am so happy to introduce you to that latest Finnish-hit, they're everywhere here these days...every shop sells the items and children have the clothing. I haven't played the game but someone in the family does...A lot!

Happy Wednesday!

Yours,
Mia

This made me laugh as I'd still be happy to have the Moomins!! My two would love the angry bird fabric, I force them to keep the Marimekko blinds I made when they were babies but they have covered every surface of their room in drawings, stickers and magazine pages (it needs re-decorating so I figure it doesn't matter) so are making their mark. Hi Beth,

This little boy here is a serious angry birds-fan, and we have these pretty fabrics in my local fabric store (he chose his blue himself and told the lady in the store how the moomins will go now...) so the change was in order :)

Have a wonderful day!

Yours,
Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
