December 13th

I am not that big fan of cleaning, yet I love the house when it's all shiny and sorted. Around the Christmas there are sometimes too high expectations (clean and sort all the cupboards and closets, paint the ceilings, built a new kitchen table-sort) and when the big day hits, you end up being exhausted. I wish to find some sort of balance to this (read: do little each day), and try to remember of the these wise words: clean the closets for Holidays if you're going to spend them in there... That all said  here's my washing line today:

...nice and pretty and colorful, and I definitely have used a washing machine for these, today's cleaning done, right?

... and just to share some brightness and colors: a few shot on right side up too... These have still time to find their way into Santa's sack!

Happy December 13th!

Yours,
Mia

P.S. All the cards done and shipped on a lower rate today, yippee! Pictures of this year's style a bit later, when Mr. Postman have delivered them all.

Hi Mia! That is a beautiful collection! I don't know why we always try to choose our favourites but mine is that petrol with squirrels!
Thank you for the best advice - definitely no Christmas party in the closet. I was hoping to clean my sewing place to start a quilt during the Christmas. My mother used to empty her sewing table for Christmas and then she made day and night huge puzzle. That was fun. We all helpped and ate lots of chocolate! x Teje

Thank you, Beth!

I love making these mittens, but it's seems that every year I start making them too late... For Santa's sack that is as for winter I think these are really needed in January-March!

Enjoy the last days before Christmas!

Mia

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
