December 2nd

** Welcome to my little Christmas blog! Here you'll find something Christmassy every single day until the big celebration on 25th of December! Some of the things I have created myself and some have been made by you, my dearest readers!
Thank you and Happiest Holidays!**

DECEMBER 2nd

For me Christmas is red and green. There might be little blue, even pink here and there, but nothing is quite like these two. A green tree and red baubles, red curtains and table clothes. Beautiful red apples in a basket, and some green hyacinths waiting to bloom. Green wreath (with red hearts) on my front door to welcome family and friends.

One of my wonderful readers, Vivienne from The Green Rabbit Designs has made a special Christmas corsage for my Christmas blog to give-away for one of you readers! Viv knits and crochets the most beautiful things, and you can find more of her adorable creations here.

So how to win this beautiful corsage? Just leave a comment on this,
my 2.12. 2010 blog-post
and it would be lovely if you could share with us

What are your Christmas colors?

I will draw the winner on Sunday, 5th December 2010, and Viv has kindly offered to ship the beautiful corsage to its new owner immediately after that, so it can be worn on this Holiday time still. And when commenting, please leave your name or link to your blog,
so I can make sure the corsage finds its owner easily.
I will not be commenting to this post as I normally would do, it's all yours!

Thank you so much, Viv!

Happy 2nd December!

Yours,
Mia

P.S. The pretty pictures were taken by Viv too, thank you so much!

Mia they are JUST my Christmas colours too, I think I am quite a traditional girl with my Christmas decorations and table. Our Christmas table cloth is holly green and I love it!
Vivienne's corsage is wonderful, I would L*O*V*E to wear that on my coat!
We have had even more overnight snow, it's looking more and more like Finland here, so Christmassy!
Happy 2nd December, Love Jane x

How exciting - two of my favourite bloggers in one post! I love the adorable corsage from Green Rabbit Designs - the way the berries look so juicy against the lovely green leaves, so I would love to win it!!
My favourite Christmas colours - red and green. But I also love red and white. And the icy shades of blue and silver... and frosted pearly pinks and lavenders...
Have a lovely day, Mia, and I look forward to your next Christmassy post. Helen x

Little touches of Silver and Gold for me.

I love Vivienne's creations and would treasure that beautiful, seasonal corsage if I was lucky enough to win it.

My christmas colors are usually red, purple, and gold but this year I just let the kids do any colors. :)

White! White and White! I love it. It's soft and quiet and pure and lovely. I decorate with snowflakes and crystal and silver tinsel. Oh - well - OK - and Green! Throw in green leaves, and branches and trees - pine and holly. Just lovely.

Thats a gorgeous corsage. I would love to be wearing that to our Christingle on my new red coat! I love red and green too bit I agree with Helen that silver, soft blues, and lavender are lovely wintry shades. I also love white but thats all we can see outside at the moment as we have 10 inches of snow in sunny Sussex. Karen X

I love that holly corsage. You can get away with wearing slightly madder things at Xmas. I love silver, I have some silver clogs, and I love fresh silver tissue paper at Xmas. It's like soft sheet metal.

This time of the year...

Usually around this time, when children go back to school, and you can just about to smell the autumn, I start to dig deeper in my fabric...
